COLORADO ROCKIES POSTGAME NOTES

 

— The Rockies were held to one run on four hits, their fifth game of the season with four or fewer hits, their second at home.

— The game left the Rockies with a franchise-long six-game streak at home with three or fewer runs scored … have not hit a home run in four consecutive home games, their longest streak since 2017 (5 games, May 9-13).  

— Starting pitcher Austin Gomber (5.0,4,1,1,3,2) dropped his season ERA to 4.32 (25.0 IP, 12 ER) and holds a 3.54 (20.1 IP, 8 ER) in four April starts.

— It was the fourth time this season a Rockies starter has allowed one or fewer runs through an outing of five or more frames.  

— RHP Victor Vodnik (2.0,2,0,0,0,2) has held opponents scoreless in nine of 10 relief appearances this season. It was his sixth outing of more than one inning, his fourth of at least 2.0 IP.

— CF Brenton Doyle (1-3, 2B, 2 SO) collected his team-leading 10th extra-base hit and is batting .304 (24-for-79).

 — The San Diego Padres won their sixth consecutive matchup against the Rockies and improved to 5-2 at Coors Field since 2023.
