Nearly half the states think the Dodgers are winning it this year. The Dodgers have been a perennial favorite the last couple of seasons, but this year it is definitely World Series or bust.

This is almost certainly due to the addition of players like Shohei Ohtani and Yoshinobu Yamamoto. In fact, the Dodgers' new contracts/signings were over a billion dollars (over several years of course).
