The Colorado Rockies announced today that team merchandise featuring 25thAnniversary Season branding is now available at all Colorado Rockies Dugout Stores, Diamond Dry Goods at Coors Field and online at Rockies.com/dugoutstores, the Rockies announced in a release on Monday. The Rockies’ 2018 uniforms, both home and road, will feature a 25th Anniversary Season patch on the right sleeve. On their black sleeveless jerseys, the patch will be on the right chest of the uniform.
There will also be a special commemorative home cap that will feature a silver CR on the front and the 25th Anniversary Season patch on the right side. This cap will be exclusive to the 2018 season. All of these items will be available for sale as part of the 25th Anniversary Season collection.
Additionally, the Rockies will be debuting a new batting practice cap that will feature a design that combines the Rockies’ mountain logo with the Colorado state flag.
The 25th Anniversary Season patch is the sixth season-long jersey patch in Rockies history. Previous patches include the Inaugural Season in 1993, Coors Field’s Inaugural Season in 1995, Denver’s first All-Star Game in 1998, the 10th Season in 2002 and the 20thAnniversary Season in 2013.
The Rockies will open the 25th Anniversary campaign on the road at Arizona for a three-game series, March 29-31, and San Diego for a four-game set, April 2-5. The Rockies then return home to Coors Field to host the Atlanta Braves for a weekend series, beginning with the club’s Home Opener, on Friday, April 6.
