Down on the farm (5/18/17)

 Triple A Albuquerque (21-19) fell to Memphis 4-2. The Isotopes were held scoreless until the top of the 8th inning when Cristhian Adames hit an Rbi single that was part of a two run inning for Albuquerque. Ryan Carpenter was roughed up over the first two innings giving up four runs. he settled down after that pitching four shutout innings before leaving the game.

 Double A Hartford (16-22) beat Portland 4-3. Drew Weeks put the Yard Goats ahead in the eighth inning with an RBI single. Closer James Farris pitched his way out of a bases loaded no-out situation in the ninth to record his fifth save of the season.

 High A Lancaster (22-19) lost to Modesto 12-7. The Nuts scored 10 runs in the first three innings of the game and the JetHawks were unable to recover despit home runs from Robert Ramos and Wes Rogers.

 Low A Asheville (17-22) was swept in a double header by Greenville by scores of 10-3 and 3-1. The Tourists have lost six of their last seven games and are a season worst five games below .500.
