Down on the farm (5/16/17)

 Triple A Albuquerque (20-18) beat Memphis 6-3. Isotopes pitcher Jeff Hoffman picked up his third win of the year by going five innings while allowing just one hit and one earned run. He also struck out four and walked four batters.

 Double A Hartford (14-22) split a double header with Portland on Tuesday. In game one the Yard Goats Sam Howard threw a seven inning shutout while allowing just one hit in a 3-0 win. In the second game the Sea Dogs Mike Olt hit a three run homer to blow the game open for Erie as they won 8-1.

 High A Lancaster (21-18) won their 7th straight game with a 9-5 win over Modesto. Brian Mundell hit a two run homer in the third that was part of a four run inning for the JetHawks. Brendan Rodgers went 0-for-5 ending his hitting streak at 13 games.

 Low A Asheville (17-20) fell to Hagerstown 6-3. The Tourists Colton Welker went 3-for-3 at the plate with a double and home run. He is now 6-for-8 with two homeruns over his last two games. He also leads the South Atlantic League .355 batting average.
