Rockies pitcher Jeff Hoffman will make his fourth start of the year when he takes the mound Saturday afternoon against the Cubs.
For the first time since being released by the Colorado Rockies in 2015 Jhoulys Chacin will get a chance to pitch against them as he takes the mound today for the San Diego Padres.
Chacin has made 37 starts since parting was with Colorado. Four with Arizona, Five with Atlanta, 17 with the Los Angeles Angels and then 11 this season with San Diego. None have come against the team he broke into the majors with until today.
