The Rockies finished their regular season with a 9-8, 13-inning victory against the Padres in a showdown for the NL wild-card spot. Brad Hawpe

Brad Hawpe didn’t just put together fancy numbers during Rocktember. Hawpe did damage when he swung the bat. He came up big again in Game 162 on Sunday Sept. 30, 2007, helping the Rockies put out the 4-3 victory while the Brewers were beating the Padres to force Game 163 between the Rockies and Padres at Coors Field on Oct. 1, 2007. Hawpe doubled home the Rockies first run in the sixth and then delivered a two-run double in the eighth that made it 4-1. Hawpe hit .423 with six doubles, a triple, four home runs and 20 RBI in the Rockies 14-1 stretch that earned them a post-season invitation.
