Tracy has been covering Major League Baseball since 1976. Over the years he has covered the Royals, Angels, Mariners, Rangers and in 1992 he began coverage of the Rockies, who began play the following season. Tracy was the 2005 recipient of the J.T. Taylor Spink Award for his work as a baseball writer. He was presented the award during the 2006 Hall of Fame Ceremony. He was a two-time Colorado Sports Writer of the Year and was awarded the 2000 Shining Star Award by the Colorado Press Association, the only sportswriter ever nominated for the honor. A fifth-generation Wyoming native, Tracy and his wife Jane live northwest of Cheyenne with their five horses and three barn cats.
Tom Helmer has been in broadcasting since 1993. Over the course of his career he has hosted a series of baseball related shows, including the nationally televised FSN Baseball Report and Colorado Rockies Pregame and Postgame Shows. From time to time he would also be asked to fill in as the Rockies television play-by-play voice. Tom has won a pair of EMMY's for his work associated with Rockies baseball and has been covering sports in and around Colorado since 2006. Tom and his wife Mindy have four kids and live in the Denver area.
